With permanent reconstruction work underway along a section of County Road 43, damaged in last year’s flood, the weekly traffic delay schedule has been posted at www.lcr43.com.
During the week of October 26, one-hour delays are anticipated. More information on this project is also available at 1-800-536-4403 and the public can sign up for email updates.
Crews are currently working along a two-mile section of County Road 43 bordered by Forest Service land, gradually expanding into other areas as right-of-way becomes available. Construction on a 10-mile stretch of road between Drake and Glen Haven and the approach being taken will improve the roadway’s resiliency.
The entire project is scheduled to be complete by the end of 2015
