Fire restrictions lifted for national forests in Larimer County

Fire restrictions that affected portions of National Forest System lands in Boulder, Gilpin and Larimer counties were lifted today.

Recent rains have helped reduce the fire danger at lower elevations. Even though the restrictions have been lifted, the Forest Service asks visitors to continue to be careful with every fire and follow local regulations. Forest visitors can help by ensuring their campfires are completely out before leaving them.
