Fort Collins man stabbed in altercation at home on County Road 60

Larimer County deputies stopped a speeding vehicle with its flashers on at approximately 3:25 a.m. on Dec. 14 and discovered a 20-year-old Fort Collins man with two stab wounds. The stop occurred near the intersection of North Taft Hill Road and West Vine Drive. The wounded man was a passenger in the 1999 silver Honda driven by another 20-year-old Fort Collins man who also had a minor injury.

Both men were transported to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle was treated and released. The stabbing victim is currently listed in fair condition.

Deputies determined the assaults had taken place at an address on West County Road 60 in Larimer County.

No arrests have been made at this time as deputies continue to investigate. A suspect has been identified and investigators do not believe there is any threat to the public at large. Alcohol and drugs are suspected to be involved.
