Need more cowbell? In his opening song, which is also the title track, John Vlassic hits it hard with a nice classic rock ‘n roll song with precisely the proper amount of cowbell. It’s a nice reminder of what good rock is. Moving on, he rolls into bluesy riffs through the next couple of songs. When you’ve gotten comfortable jamming to the classic rock sounds he throws you for a loop in “the Endless Threat” where it becomes more electronic rock, gets a little darker and stays that way in the following songs. It’s a good album that keeps you rocking along and interested. I am intereseted to listen to what loops he’ll throw at us in the next album.
