Wellington Middle School is once again participating in the PSD/WMS Turkey Round Up. Donations of frozen turkeys will be welcomed between 7 and 8 a.m. November 20 in front of the school. Bill Peisner, the “Turkey Wrangler,” will be there to accept them. All donations will go to the Wellington Food Bank.
Wellington Middle School Media Center is sponsoring their annual “Cans for Books” food drive. From now until winter break, the Media Center is accepting donations of non-perishable food items in exchange for book fines.
Students are also collecting canned or boxed food in their advisory classes. All food will be donated to the Wellington Food Bank. All donations are welcomed.
