Larimer County hosting "How to Prepare for Anything" workshops

The Larimer County Commissioners will proclaim September as Emergency Preparedness Month in Larimer County. Unknown events and disturbances can happen anytime.

You can learn about how to be prepared at four free events offered throughout the month of September. Three “How to Prepare for Anything” workshops are being offered — two in Ft. Collins and one in Livermore — plus the “2016 Family Safety & Preparedness Expo” at The Ranch in the Thomas M. McKee 4-H Building.

The “How to Prepare for Anything” workshops will help communities improve preparedness by empowering families and individuals through coping strategies, developing long and short-term preparedness plans, and enabling communities to develop abilities to move through disruptions together.
