Larimer County to hold insurance workshop for High Park Fire survivors on Aug. 27

Larimer County will hold a second public update meeting with new “Roadmap to Recovery” topics on navigating insurance for High Park and Woodland Heights Fire survivors on Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m. in the Hearing Room, 1st floor, Larimer County Courthouse Offices Building, 200 West Oak Street, Fort Collins.

Over 120 people attended the Aug. 2 presentation. The Aug. 27 Roadmap to Recovery meeting will focus on new topics: Effective claims communication, underinsurance and Colorado-specific claims handling rules. In addition to a presentation and Q & A session, there will be interest group breakout sessions where attendees can network with other fire survivors. Roadmap to Recovery tools will be available.
