League of Women Voters hosts House and Senate District candidates at Sept. 5 forum

Candidates for House Districts 52 and 53 and Senate Districts 14 and 23 will participate in a League of Women Voters Candidates Forum scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5. The forum will begin at 7 p.m. at the Fort Collins City Council Chambers, 300 LaPorte Ave.

A league member will moderate the forum and pose questions, submitted by the audience and by the league, on matters relevant to the state legislature and to representation of district voters. The audience is asked to arrive by 6:45 p.m. to submit written questions.

The forum will be televised on the City of Fort Collins Channel 14, and rebroadcast multiple times prior to election day.

The forum is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Larimer County, in cooperation with the City of Fort Collins. The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization that encourages an active and informed electorate. For further information on this forum, call 970-227-7437.
