Learn origami at Poudre River Public Library District spring break event

Are you watching your neighbors pack for the tropics? Wondering what to do with the kids over spring break? Poudre River Public Library District has a fun-filled week of events planned for all ages, and the events are free at district libraries.

On March 14 at 1 p.m., the Harmony Library at 4616 South Shields will feature “School’s Out Craft: Origami,” where kids can learn basic origami techniques of the Japanese art of paper folding. Those newly acquired skills will be used to create origami figures at various levels of difficulty, including patterns from the basic crane to Star Wars & Harry Potter figures. Participants will learn how to do dollar bill origami. Recommended for ages 8 and older.

Call 970-221-6740 or go to www.PoudreLibraries.org for information on this and many other free library events.
