Mail-in ballot blues?

Wondering about your mail-in ballot that’s still sitting on the kitchen counter? Thinking maybe it’s too late to vote?

It’s not. Larimer County has done a bang-up job of providing both drop-off and Voter Service and Polling Centers for the Nov. 4 election.

While mail-in ballots can be dropped off at King Soopers and Safeway stores in Fort Collins, be aware that if you need to register to vote, change your address or receive a new ballot, you’ll need to visit a Voter Service and Polling Center (different from drop-off only locations).

Voter Service and Polling Centers closest to the North Forty News readership area will be open only on Election Day, Nov. 4 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. They are as follows:

American Legion Hall, 2124 CR54G, LaPorte
Red Feather Lakes POA, 58 Firehouse Lane, Red Feather Lakes
River of Life Fellowship, 3161 ECR62E, Wellington

There are Election Day only Voter and Polling Centers also at the Hilton Hotel in Ft. Collins and Brookside Gardens in Berthoud.

Voter Service and Polling Centers open now and through Nov. 3, except on Sundays, and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 4. Include the following: They will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday Oct. 31 and Saturday Nov. 1, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at:
