For the first time since its opening in 1988, the Moot House was closed for three solid months to undergo an extensive remodel again. The popular Fort Collins landmark is now open for business; proudly boasting a more open floor plan, inviting decor, a fabulous patio and a new bar featuring 30 unique beers on tap. “We needed to make the Moot House right for the next 15-20 years,” says co-owner Scott McCarthy. This July, they are bringing back their signature Beer Dinners showcasing five local beers paired with five courses of food. For the first time, Executive Chef Jeff Blackwell is creating weekly specials using the produce from Native Hill Farm and CSA. You can get a glimpse of Chef Blackwell every week at the Harmony Farmer’s Market for demonstrations and samples of his creations using local produce, while highlighting what is available and fresh for the current week.
