New CLP Elementary principal chosen

Landus Boucher will be recommended to the Board of Education for appointment as the next principal of Cache La Poudre Elementary School, according to an e-mail sent to CLPE parents by Todd Lambert, assistant superintendent elementary schools.

Boucher currently serves as a principal on special assignment in the Mapleton Public Schools, where she provides direct coaching and supervision to elementary teachers. Prior to her current role, Boucher was the principal at both the Clayton Partnership School and the Global Leadership Academy in Mapleton. Additionally, Boucher has served as an assistant principal and bilingual education teacher.

Boucher holds a bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College and received her master’s from the University of Colorado-Denver, where she also completed her principal licensure work.
