Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming counties collaborate to host job fair

On Oct. 22, the Larimer County Workforce Center will partner with Employment Services of Weld County, Workforce Boulder County and Wyoming Workforce Services – Cheyenne Workforce Center to host the WY-CO Partnership Regional Job Fair at the Larimer County Fairgrounds in Loveland.

The job fair hours are 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for veterans only, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for everyone else.

“We’ve had an overwhelming response from employers who are anxious to connect with candidates around the region,” says Jackie Tuck, senior business development consultant at the LCWC.

Over 45 employers have committed to the event so far, and booths are expected to fill up quickly. Participating employers will be recruiting for energy, customer service, healthcare, beverage industry, hospitality, construction, law enforcement, retail, tourism, manufacturing, and professional administrative positions. Most have multiple positions to fill. A current list of participating employers can be found at www.larimerworkforce.org/wy-co.

Job seekers are encouraged to create a profile in www.connectingcolorado.com before the Oct. 22 job fair. Job seekers don’t need to register for the free job fair, but are encouraged to dress professionally and bring copies of their resume. Employer participation is also free; interested employers may contact Jackie Tuck at 970-498-6647 or [email protected] to reserve space.
