Openings on Ag Board, Red Feather PAC

Monday, Nov. 21, is the deadline to apply for openings on two Larimer County Boards: the Agricultural Advisory Board and the Red Feather Lakes Planning Advisory Committee.

Six seats are coming open at the end of November on the Agricultural Advisory Board. The bylaws call for at least 10 members of the 15-member board to be involved in production agricultural such as crops, livestock, or dairy products. Terms are for three years; the board meets the second Wednesday of odd-numbered months. For more information, go to the boards and commissions section of the county website.

Two seats will be open at the end of the year on the Red Feather Lakes Planning Advisory Committee. The role of the PAC is to provide an organized forum to facilitate communication with the county and within the community on issues that impact Red Feather Lakes. Terms are for three years; the committee meets the second Thursday of every month. For more information, go to the county website.

Interested residents of Larimer County can apply online at www.larimer.org/boards, or pick up an application at a county office. For more details, contact Diane Tokarz in the Larimer County Commissioners’ Office at 970-498-7015, [email protected].

A short video and Q&A section addressing questions about serving on county boards is also available on the website.
