Outreach team helping High Park survivors will disband after grant runs out in July

The counseling team assembled to help High Park Fire survivors deal with the emotional stress of the catastrophe will disband on July 22. The Mountain Outreach Team was funded through a one-year Federal Emergency Management Agency grant administered by Touchstone Health Partners, formerly Larimer Center for Mental Health.

Mountain Outreach Team has hosted more than 20 support meetings for fire survivors and has participated in mountain community events and potlucks. Several support meetings are still scheduled in June for Stove Prairie, Poudre Park, Glacier View Meadows, Buckhorn and LaPorte.

The team can be reached through July 22 at 970-494-4245 or by email at [email protected].
