After more than 20 years of being located in Greeley on “O” Street, the Pawnee National Grassland District Office is moving to Ault. The move started yesterday and is continuing today. This location will be staffed later this week.
The Grassland’s new address is 115 N 2nd Avenue. This exciting move offers a location closer to the Grassland and being located just north of Highway 14 will make it easier to reach those visitors heading out to the Pawnee, especially those traveling via I-25, and allows us to be more accessible to those permittees who live within the grassland.
“We are looking forward to being a part of the Ault community and feel welcomed already,” District Ranger Curtis Youngman said. “The opportunity to reach more visitors to share our enthusiasm for the Pawnee National Grassland makes this a great move for our staff.”
With the new location will come new phone numbers, but unfortunately those will not be available until the move is complete and all technologies are in place. Until then, those with questions can call the U.S. Forest Service office in Fort Collins at 970-295-6700.
