Popular "Colorado Skies" column debuts in May edition of North 40

The “Colorado Skies” column is coming to the North Forty News starting in May. “Colorado Skies” is a long-term column on popular astronomy written by Dr. Roger Culver, professor emeritus of astronomy, who has taught the astronomy courses at the Colorado State University for the past 50 years.

Culver authored the column in the Fort Collins daily newspaper for almost 50 years.

“We’re thrilled that Roger is continuing his column in our monthly newspaper,” said publisher Doug Conarroe. “Our region of Colorado offers some of the best night sky viewing around, and Roger is a really good guide in understanding the stars, the galaxies and the curiosities of the universe around us.”
