Poudre School District holding laptop training sessions for parents of incoming 9th graders

The first day of school is August 20, so laptop training sessions for parents of 9th grade students entering Poudre School District schools are being held during August at the four high schools and the district’s Technology District Building.

The laptops, funded by mill and bond dollar approved by voters in fall 2010, are checked out to students for the entire four years while in high school.

Please choose one meeting at any of the locations/times. It doesn’t matter which school you attend or which training you attend as they are all identical but parents must attend one 30-minute training.

Trainings are scheduled for:

• Aug. 8, 5:30 p.m., Information Technology Center – 2413 LaPorte Avenue, just west of the main district office

• Aug. 8, 6:30 p.m., Information Technology Center – 2413 LaPorte Avenue, just west of the main district office

• Aug. 12, 5:30 p.m., Fort Collins High School, 3400 Lambkin Way

• Aug. 12, 6 p.m., Rocky Mountain High School, 1300 W. Swallow

• Aug. 14, 6 p.m., Poudre High School, 201 Impala Drive
