Poudre School District offers junior high students a great international opportunity

For the fifth consecutive year, the Poudre School District will conduct 5th and 6th grade student exchanges with John F. Kennedy School in Berlin, Germany. The dual language English/German public school has also partnered with PSD for many years in a teacher exchange.

The program’s goal is to strengthen students’ awareness of other cultures and promote International Mindedness. In late April or early May, students from the JFK School will travel to join Fort Collins host families. PSD students will fly to Germany within the first two weeks of June to experience life and school in Berlin.

Lesher Jr. High students have participated in the program in past years and at least one is expected to be included in the limited group (20-25) in 2015. Although the deadline is past for applying the 2015 exchange, any family wishing to inquire about estimated costs and other pertinent information for the 2016 program should contact PSD online at [email protected] or call 970-488-4825.
