Registered to vote in the Wellington election?

To be eligible to vote in the April 1 town election, you must have attained 18 years of age, be a U.S. citizen and must have resided in the town of Wellington for 30 days.

Colorado law allows voters to register to vote through Election Day, but there’s some planning involved if you don’t want to drive into Fort Collins.

Ways to register to vote:

• Obtain a voter registration form at the Town of Wellington and mail it to the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder. Forms received by the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder up to and including Election Day will be processed.
• Register online through www.govotecolorado.com through the 8th day before the election (March 24).
• Register by appearing in-person at the elections division of the Larimer County Clerk and Recorder, 200 W. Oak Street in Fort Collins, through Election Day.

The April 1 town of Wellington election will take place at the Leeper Center, 3800 Wilson Avenue from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

For more information on voter registration, call the county elections office at 970-498-7820.
