Rocky Mountain Raptor Program hosts open house on Dec. 9

The nonprofit Rocky Mountain Raptor Program is celebrating its 25th year of rescuing and rehabilitating birds of prey and will hold its annual Holiday Open House from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 720 East Vine Drive in Fort Collins.

This event is free, family-friendly and open to the public and cameras are encouraged. Come see the hawks, owls, eagles, vultures and other species of raptors-in-residence, those birds which are non-releasable.

RMRP inspires the protection and appreciation of raptors through excellence in rehabilitation, education and research. To date, over 250 birds have been treated by both trained professionals and volunteers.
