The Health District of Northern Larimer County will offer a 6-week smoking cessation class that includes free nicotine replacement products Wednesday evenings, 6 to 7:30 p.m., beginning Aug. 15. Classes will be held at the Health District office at 120 Bristlecone Dr. in
north Fort Collins.

A trained smoking cessation counselor will help class participants develop a personalized plan that maximizes their chances of successfully quitting smoking.

Cost is $100 although residents of the Health District (northern Larimer County) are eligible for sliding fees as low as $10, depending on income. District residents also are eligible to have half of their class free refunded if they complete the program. All class participants receive free nicotine replacement products (patches, gum or lozenges) while enrolled.
