It’s not too early to start thinking about getting a team together for summer softball.
Team registration is $560 with twelve games scheduled and ten guaranteed. The 2013 season is scheduled to begin the week of May 12. Tournament dates will be announced at the managers meeting on May 6.
The Adult Coed Softball manual can be found at www.townofwellington.com.
Here’s what will be offered for 2013:
• Sunday: Upper Rec (Comp), limit 8 teams.
• Wednesday: Leisure, limit 5 teams; Recreation, limit 5 teams
• Thursday: Recreation, limit 9 teams
• Friday: Leisure, limit 9 teams
Registration will run March 25 to April 12, or until leagues are filled. Early bird registration opens online March 18. No early walk-in registration will be accepted before March 18. Early walk-in registration will be accessed a $50 processing fee.
Want to play, but don”t have a team? Just email us your name and contact information to recreation@townofwellington.com and we will pass it on if team is looking for players. Contact the Wellington Recreation office at 970-568-7410 with any questions.
