Two Wellington moms looked around their growing town and realized there was no frozen yogurt shop. Instead of complaining, they decided to open a shop themselves. “We wanted something for the kids,” explained co-owner Jamie Protte, “something yummy, simple and inexpensive.”
This fall, Jamie and Meagan McGuire opened Swirl Stop Frozen Yogurt at 3706 W. Cleveland Ave., next to Schrader’s Country Store. It opens at noon, seven days a week.
The shop features high-quality Yocream frozen yogurt in a variety of flavors, most of them gluten-free. Each day offers one non-dairy sorbet and a no-sugar option.
