Girl Scout Troop 4291 is hosting Hometown Dinner In The Park on Saturday, July 23 at 6:30 p.m. in Centennial Park in Wellington (3rd Street and Harrison). It’s an opportunity to get to know your neighbors while enjoying an evening in the park and supporting some good causes.
Dinner includes freshly grilled kabobs with all of the fixins’, including dessert and beverage. The evening includes live music and a lovely outdoor summer atmosphere.
A portion of the proceeds goes to Girl Scout Troop 4291 for their trip to Costa Rica in 2018 and another 10 percent will be donated to local veterans.
Cost is $15 for adults and $8 for kids under 12. Veterans eat for $12.
