Cashing In On Success

Rosanne Cash
Last year was eventful for Rosanne Cash. The release of her much anticipated album in more than four years, The River and the Thread (January 2014, Blue Note Records) and the launch of that tour kept the artist performing, connecting with her fans and grounded to her roots in the American South.
With a talented genetic gene pool on her side, she stands on her own as a vocalist and musician. Her style is a mixture of bluesy country with undertones of folk. Her voice and music are easily memorable, as are her name and charming lyrics. Cash is about trueness to who she is and where her ancestors come from.
Grammy nominated Cash has charted 21 Top 40 country singles including 11 Number Ones. Her new album is a collaborative effort with husband John Leventhal.
The Performance Hall at the Lincoln Center hosts the brand new show, The River and the Thread, live in concert on Saturday, January 10 at 7:30pm with her band. Tickets on sale at lctix.com and (970) 221-6730.
