Colorado Music Convergence

SpokesBUZZ, a Fort Collins “grassroots” non-profit, and the Breckenridge arts and culture organization, Breckenridge Creative Arts or BreckCreate, have come together in partnership with Colorado Creative Industries, to conceive the Colorado Music Convergence. Launching February 19 and running through February 21, the Colorado Music Convergence is a gathering place for Colorado’s independent artists, bands and industry professionals who would like the opportunity to participate in career development workshops, mentoring sessions and networking events, as well as opportunities to perform live. The gathering will also include Detour, a statewide, community based touring program run by Colorado Creative Industries, whose focus is to bring Colorado musicians and communities together in a musical partnership. The three-day event will take place in various venues throughout downtown Breckenridge including the Riverwalk Center, as well as the Breckenridge Arts District campus; the conference is free but space in limited. For more information, or to register, please go to http://spokesbuzz.org/fans/colorado-music-convergence or visit breckcreate.org. For information on Detour, go to coloradocreativeindustries.org
