Two SEAT airplanes and one heavy-lift helicopter dropped water and retardant on the fire, and the Multi-Mission Aircraft provided imaging throughout the day.

Over 100 personnel from agencies across three counties responded in tough conditions today. There will likely be additional vehicles and fire crews responding to the area in the morning on Sunday, July 23, 2017, and Coyote Ridge Natural Area will be closed to the public.  Officials ask residents to avoid the area if possible.
