Obituary: Janet Grace Clark

Janet Grace Clark, 74, of Livermore passed away on March 10, 2014.

Janet Petzke was born in Kenosha, Wisc., on Aug. 29, 1939. She graduated from Kenosha High School in 1955 and continued on to study Music Therapy at Colorado State University.

Janet married Gene Clark on Aug. 30, 1958; they were married 55 years.
Janet worked as a transcriptionist for various medical professionals. She enjoyed wildflowers and card making and was unbeatable in word games.

Janet is survived by her husband Gene; brother John (Linda) and sisters Jean (Art) and Joan; her children Carrie (Michael and grandchildren Joshua (Taryn), Zachary (Morgan) and Cody), Dan (Veronica and grandchildren Dawn (Hunter and great grandchildren Haleigh, Fischer and Samantha Isabelle), Janet and Danielle), Glenn (and grandchildren Sam, Cade and Tate), Bob (and grandchildren Dominic and Tyler) and Ron (Tracey and grandchildren Kylee, Molly and Daniel).

Janet was preceded in death by her parents Alwin and Grace Petzke.

The funeral service was held March 16 at Southgate Church in Fort Collins. Dan Schmidt of Foundations Church officiated. Cremation followed the funeral and Janet’s ashes will be scattered among her favorite wildflowers when they bloom later this spring. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Allnutt.
