Four sultry ladies named Evalette, Coco, Bang Bang and Lady Ginger formed Fort Collins’ newest Burlesque troupe in March 2013. The BlueStocking Burly-Q is modern sass with retro class at its finest. These experienced burlesque performers have a love for dance with a vintage cosmopolitan flair and a passion for charity. Named after the BlueStocking Society of the 18th century, the very definition of a BlueStocking is an educated and intelligent woman with excellent feminist qualities. In August, the ladies launch their “BlueStocking Boutique” on Etsy where you can purchase an assortment of high class hair flowers, pasties and vintage finds. Starting in September, they will be teaching the inaugural session of the BlueStocking Academy of Burlesque. They are available for private events and fundraisers as well.
