Located in the music section of the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery (408 Mason Court), the Music Garage is the most educational place in town to jam. Nick Duarte, museum music department head and Post Paradise frontman, as well as a team of local musicians, have been working for the past two years to create 6000 square feet of interactive music for people of all ages to explore, play, learn and record. Duarte thought back to what kind of “ideal musical playground” he wanted as a kid and even remembers his first recording experience as life-changing. With this in mind, the Music Garage at FCMoD is equipped with guitars, bass, drums, vocal amps and microphones – just to list a few of the equipment you can play with during FREE Jam sessions, Garage Studio recording time, and Discover Music! A calendar of events can be found on the website www.fcmod.org (learning programs). For more information or to book the Music Garage, email email@example.com.
