The Community First Foundation out of Denver, The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado, and FirstBank have joined forces to increase online giving in the Northern Colorado area. “24 hours to give where you live” is the motto for the fourth annual Colorado Gives Day. This is an initiative to increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. During a 24-hour period (Tuesday Dec. 10, 2013) donations will be accepted through NoCoGives.org with a goal to inspire and unite Coloradans in supporting their local nonprofits. Donations received during the online event will not have fees associated with third parties, instead 100% of all gifts are given directly to whatever charity you specify.
