Larimer County Department of Natural Resources seeking park aides to help boaters

Come play by the water’s edge this summer by volunteering as a park aide at Carter Lake or Horsetooth Reservoir. Park aides help visitors enjoy the parks by assisting boaters at the docks, helping get boats on and off the reservoir, answering questions and giving directions and coordinating boat-trailer parking.

Park aides who volunteer 20 hours or more are eligible for a free volunteer parks pass to use on their off time. All Larimer County Department of Natural Resources volunteers are included in extra privileges such as being a part of special events, free continuing education classes and trainings offered by various agencies.

Park aide training is May 3. For more information or to sign up as a volunteer, contact CJ Cullins, volunteer coordinator, at 970-679-4552.
