“As always, Bohemian Nights is proud to present a diverse and incredibly talented offering of nationally distinguished musicians to anchor the nighttime shows,” said Merry Hummell, director of music events at Fort Collins-based Bohemian Foundation. “Headliner artists reinforce the Colorado band lineup and the Colorado artists support the headliner shows.”

The weekend will kick off on Aug. 10 at 5 p.m. with Fort Collins Friday featuring nine of the city’s best bands playing across three stages. At 8:30 p.m. on the Mountain Avenue main stage, audiences can enjoy the upbeat reggae, rock, soul and eclectic styles of Michael Franti & Spearhead. Saturday, Aug. 11 at 8:30 p.m. the country, folk and bluegrass-influenced music of Alison Krauss & Union Station featuring Jerry Douglas takes the Mountain Avenue stage as part of its 2012 “Paper Airplane” tour. The smooth sounds of pop-oriented flamenco band Gipsy Kings close the festival Sunday, Aug. 12, with a performance at 5:30 p.m. on Mountain Avenue. The Friday and Saturday night performances will be simulcast on multiple screens.
