Our Lands, Our Future meeting in Wellington on Oct. 29

Have an opinion about open space? Natural areas? Trails? How these lands are managed, or if we need more or less of them? Don’t miss an opportunity to share your opinion with government officials on your views about these topics. Time is ticking, so fill out a survey by Oct. 31 – this is no TRICK!

Our Lands, Our Future meeting: October 29, 1 – 2 p.m.: T-Bar Inn, 3803 W Cleveland in Wellington.

Our Lands, Our Future is a grassroots process to generate a vision for the critical landscapes and outdoor recreational opportunities of Northern Colorado. Larimer County and incorporated municipalities are evaluating the achievements and possible gaps in our region’s land conservation, open space, and outdoor recreation programs. Your feedback will guide how future open space tax dollars may be spent. This process, designed to assist future planning efforts, will include a citizen survey, extensive public outreach, interactive mapping of open space opportunities, and an economic analysis. Please visit larimer.org/ourlands_ourfuture/ to take the survey.

If you received a survey in the mail, please complete and return it as soon as you can – you are part of a statistically valid sample and your feedback is critical.

You can learn more about the process and provide feedback at the upcoming public meeting in Wellington or you can invite us to your favorite club, HOA or coffee klatch. Please call Zac at 970-679-4534 to schedule or get more information.
