The Colorado Department of Transportation will be working on the bridges on northbound and southbound Interstate 25 north of Wellington to the Wyoming border Monday through Friday beginning March 12. Replacement of the expansion joints on the bridges will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, weather permitting. CDOT crews will close varying lanes of both directions of I-25 between mile marker 290 and MM 295 throughout the week as work is completed.
The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph in the work zone and delays should be expected.
