Spring Glade Fire 100% contained

The Larimer County Sheriff’s office reports the Spring Glade fire is 100% contained. Sparked by a lawnmower, costs from the fire are reported to be near $100,000 to the county. No structures were lost, and no injuries were reported. No charges will be filed.

Response teams from around the state contributed to containing the fire quickly. It forced evacuations and quite a “stir” along the foothills portions of Larimer County. The fire burned 371 acres and was reported contained at 5:00pm on 7/24/2017.
