Be Local Northern Colorado hosting Bounty & Brews Farm Dinner

Be Local Northern Colorado announced today the first annual Bounty & Brews Farm Dinner, an event that pairs six local breweries with seven local chefs, all collaborating to create a farm-to-table beer dinner extraordinaire.

Food will be served farm to table fashion at common tables, decorated elegantly with seasonal plants and produce. This event will be hosted at Fort Collins Nursery, 2121 East Mulberry, on Oct. 27 from 5 to 10 p.m.

The dinner is an opportunity for the community to dine together and raise our glasses to local producers. Bounty & Brews is the current premiere fundraiser for Be Local Northern Colorado and their farm and food program and will help them continue to serve their mission to cultivate a living economy of independent, uniquely local businesses and farms through community advocacy, consumer education and business promotion.

Each course will be paired with a brew from a local brewery. Hors d’oeuvres will be prepared by Ace Gillets and Fish, paired with Equinox Brewery; Second Course will be provided by Gravity 1020 and Fort Collins Brewery; Third Course will be by El Monte Grill paired with Funkwerks; Fourth Course will feature a dish by Café Vino paired with a brew from New Belgium; Main Course will be presented by The Canyon Chophouse and Odell Brewing; and Dessert will feature Restaurant 415 paired with Paneros Creek. Vegetarian and Gluten-free options will be available.

Participating farms and producers are: Fossil Creek Farms, Grant Family Farms, Hazel dell Mushrooms, Quatrix Aquaponics, Raspberry Hill Farms, Morning Fresh Dairy, Mouco Cheese, Native Hill Farm, Spring Kite Farm and Windsor Dairy. LoCo Foods Distribution is providing the protein for the evening, and spices are being provided to each chef by Old Town Spice Shop.

Music for the evening will be provided by local favorite, The 3 Twins. Attendees will receive a commemorative insulated cup and have the opportunity to bid on a wealth of items donated by Be Local member businesses and farms. Free shuttle service to be provided by Green Ride. Tickets are $80 and quantities are limited. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.belocalnc.org/farmdinner .
