Can your fines at Poudre River Public Libraries

Sept. 24-30 is “Can Your Fines Week” at any of the Poudre River Public Libraries. Pay off your library fines with food instead of cash. Bring your cans of food to the “Can Your Fines” table this week and you will get your library fines waived (up to $10).

Here’s how it works: one can equals a dollar in fines waived, no change will be given, so if you have $4.00 in fines, bring in four cans. If you have $4.25 in fines, bring in five cans. All canned food will be donated to the Food Bank for Larimer County. Only commercially canned food will be accepted. Cans will be accepted for overdue fines only (not fines associated with processing fees, lost/damaged materials or collections). Actual cost of food item will not be considered. No glass, boxes or dented/expired cans.

Clear your fines by helping the hungry. For more information go to www.PoudreLibraries.org or call 970-221-6740.
