High Park Fire update: Glacier View residents are being asked to be vigilant

From the Larimer County Sheriff:

The High Park Fire remains at 36,930 acres with 0 percent containment.

Crews are concerned with the northeast portion of the fire near Bonner Peak. Heavy helicopters are doing water drops in this area and more crews are being directed to this area.

Pre-planning has started between the Incident Command and the Glacier View Fire District. There are no evacuations or pre-evacuation notices for this area but citizens in portions of Glacier View are being asked to be vigilant and to be aware of fire activity.

There are no official Facebook or Twitter accounts for the High Park Fire. Any sites that exist are not authorized.

No calls for evacuations or pre-evacuations have been placed within the city of Fort Collins or its immediate outskirts. Residents would be notified as soon as possible if fire conditions warranted.
