NUANCE CHOCOLATE

Attention chocolate lovers! Old Town Fort Collins just got a little sweeter. Nuance Chocolate, the town’s newest specialty food store, opened in October at 214 Pine Street to delicious satisfaction. Owners Toby and Alix Gadd would love for you to come in and demo their “show and smell,” where they talk you through their step-by-step process of bringing cacao beans from all over the world, including Ghana, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Ecuador and Madagascar. They also show how they turn them into delicious bars, truffles and hot drinks (including a French style hot chocolate). All of their small batch, single-origin chocolate bars are made right here in Fort Collins and are ethically sourced, fair-traded and organic. Taster flights of chocolate are available to sample. The chocolatiers collaborate with local distilleries, coffee shops and tea shops to bring you original confections with a global flare. “Like” Nuance on Facebook.
