Scene Magazine warmly welcomes Tom Scharf as the new Music Programs Director for Bohemian Foundation. Scharf is the former CEO of Swallow Hill Music, a 36-year-old nonprofit organization that strives to bring music to the community through education, events, festivals and concerts. Swallow Hill Music saw many successes under Scharf’s leadership. As the Music Programs Director for the Bohemian Foundation, Scharf will be directing and managing the foundation’s music-related grantmaking and programs, as well as supporting the organization’s music goals: to increase performances of live music, to help musicians and music-related businesses grow and develop.
