Scharf is the former CEO of Swallow Hill Music, a 36-year-old nonprofit organization that strives to bring music to the community through education, events, festivals and concerts. Swallow Hill Music saw many successes under Scharf’s leadership. As the Music Programs Director for the Bohemian Foundation, Scharf will be directing and managing the foundation’s music-related grantmaking and programs, as well as supporting the organization’s music goals: to increase performances of live music, to help musicians and music-related businesses grow and develop. Scharf says “The reach and impact of Colorado music is growing locally and nationally, and musicians in Fort Collins are a big part of that… I’m going to do my part to engage, support and nurture music in Fort Collins and beyond.” More on Tom Scharf, linkedin.com/in/tomscharf.
